Mt Rose Summit to Relay Ridge

At the trailhead is an interesting sign explaining the rules for dog owners.  They should have put the attention dogs section in bark bark language!
This trail is entirely above 9100'.  Up to the Galena Falls the trail maintins a gradual grade despite some parts of the surrounding terrain being quite steep.

The trail now climbs steep switchbacks to ascend Relay Ridge.  Once there views are abundant.  After leaving the wilderness at the road junction I return via the road.
