TRT/PCT JCT. to the escarpment past Showers Lake

The trail starts in a large meadowy valley at the still standing buildings of an old ranch.  The trail meanders around this valley until about 3/4 mile before Showers Lake when the trail climbs very steeply.

The final 0.7 mile down around the lakes outlet and climb up the escarpment:
